Bread Making for Beginners

Working with a well-known local Artisan Baker you will learn how to make and bake wonderful traditional and rustic loaves and rolls by hand with confidence! Amongst a host of other things the course will include shaping rolls and loaves, making focaccia ,Turkish bread, mushroom bread, Chocolate swirl bread, Lardy cake, Chelsea buns, and  making roses and ears of wheat to decorate your breads.

10 weeks £80 plus £3.50 paid weekly to the tutor for fresh organic ingredients.

 Basic Introduction to Domestic Plumbing

This course covers all basic elements of a Hot & Cold water system eg sinks, taps, toilets, bleeding radiators and immersion systems – how they work, how they are installed and how to maintain them.  The course will be delivered via handouts, projections and hands-on demonstrations and experience.

Basic Introduction to Tiling

This course does what it says on the tin! Learn the tips of the trade to give your tiling a professional finish.

This course is designed for complete beginners and will give a wide-ranging overview of Astronomy including the opportunity to look at the skies in detail using a telescope. Subjects covered include choosing equipment and observing, the planets and Solar System, the nature of stars and galaxies and The Big Bang Theory.

10 weeks £80 plus £4 for a comprehensive folder of Tutor notes (Optional)
