Midsomer Norton Sports Centre upgrade works
Midsomer Norton Sports Centre will be undergoing significant plant room upgrade works from March – May 2018. These works include the complete overhaul of the centre’s ventilation system and complete replacement of boilers which will result in the following outcomes
1). Consistent shower temperature
2). Consistent pool temperature (30 degrees)
3). Consistent pool hall air temperature (30 – 31 degrees)
4). Consistent changing room temperature (24 – 25 degrees)
The above demonstrates our commitment, as a not-for-profit charitable organisation, to improving the facilities we manage for the benefit of local people. 100% of any surpluses made are reinvested in our facilities, activities and staff. This and future developments and improvements are only possible with our customers continued support.
The centre will remain open and will continue to operate as normal unless otherwise advertised.
UPDATE – 27th April
The new boiler system has now been installed and commissioned. We can now guarantee consistent pool (30 degrees) and shower temperatures.
The final phase of works involves the installation of new ductwork for the new ventilation system. This will be completed by Friday 4th May. This final phase of works won’t cause any disruption to services.
We would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your continued support and understanding during these essential works.
