Introduction to Group Exercise

If you are new to group exercise and would like to try a taster of what we offer then why not try our FREE introduction to group exercise class which consists of four 15 minute taster sessions of our most popular workout classes.

Workout class charges

45 – 60 minute classes

  • Inclusive Members – Free
  • PAYG (non members) – £4.95 per class

30 minute classes

  • Inclusive Members – Free
  • PAYG (non members) – £3.90 per class

Aqua Class

  • Inclusive and Swim only Members – Free
  • PAYG (non members) – £5.60 per class

All sessions can be booked 9 days in advance (Inclusive Members only) and 7 days in advance (Non Members) either online or by calling reception on 01761 252631.

Workout Class Timetable

Our classes are open to everyone and cater for all fitness levels as you can work at your own pace. We do allow children aged 11 – 15 to attend any of our workout classes. Children must be accompanied by an adult aged 18 years. We only permit 2 children per 1 adult. All of our classes are suitable for postnatal women following six week check. Please inform the instructor on arrival as they may need to offer alternative exercises.

We have colour coded our classes as follows:

  • Blue – High intensity workout that will raise your heart rate, burn calories and improve aerobic fitness.
  • Red – High Intensity workout designed to improve your strength
  • Orange – Conditioning workout designed to improve strength and muscle tone.
  • Yellow – Dance based workouts.
  • Grey – Functional training designed to strengthen core muscles of the abdomen and lower back
  • Purple – Lower intensity workouts designed for those new to exercise, expectant mothers, those returning to exercise following the birth of a child, over 50’s and those with limited mobility.

We also have specific pre and post natal exercise classes as well as classes designed specifically for anyone referred to our exercise on referral scheme (GP referral)

  • Green – Holistic classes that help to improve flexability, posture and general well being.
