Our female pre / post natal qualified instructors are here to help by tailoring an activity programme that’s suited to you and adjusted each trimester. There are a number of benefits of getting or remaining active throughout pregnancy including

For many women changing body shape is a concern and exercise helps to gain a sense of control and achievement.  Exercise is also a great way to connect with others and build long-lasting friendships.

We offer:

  • FREE health screening (1 to 1 review with a qualified female instructor)

  • Low impact pre natal classes with safe and controlled exercises suitable for all trimesters (see our workout timetable for more details)

  • Low impact post natal classes with safe and controlled exercises to aid recovery, help return to pre-pregnancy weight, as well as gaining strength and improving endurance levels

  • Personalised safe and effective pre and post natal fitness programmes

  • Concessionary rates on all memberships

Pre / Post Natal Group Exercise Classes

The following specific pre / post natal classes are available at our two sites and are delivered by qualified pre / post natal instructors.   

    • Tuesday 11.30am – 12.15pm – Postnatal Exercise (Midsomer Norton)
    • Tuesday 1.15pm – 2.00pm – Prenatal (Midsomer Norton)
    • Wednesday 10.30am – 11.15pm – Postnatal (Midsomer Norton)
    • Thursday 10.15am – 11.00am – Postnatal (Midsomer Norton)
    • Friday 11.30am – 12.15pm – Postnatal (Midsomer Norton)

All of our classes are suitable for postnatal ladies following their 6 week check  as our instructors will offer regression and demonstrate / instruct extra needs for postnatal clients.

Our group exercise instructors will ask if anyone is pregnant or returning following the birth of a child at the beginning of the class and will give alternative exercises where appropriate.
