Writhlington Leisure are pleased to offer a Development Pathway Program for students showing a natural aptitude in Trampolining. Students attending these classes will continue to develop and enhance underpinning foundation skills as well as work towards more complex ones in preparation for competition.
All of our development students will be expected to compete in competitions such as external club friendlies which not only help prepare the more novice performer with competition structure but also allow for the more experienced ones to practice new routines. They will also be given the opportunity to enter both County and Regional competitions.
In order for us to run a successful program and support the requirements of competition entry, parents may be asked to help officiate in order to achieve the set participant to official ratio. Failure to achieve set ratios may result in entries being declined by the competition organiser.
Our Development Program is by invitation only.
Our development structure is as follows – please note training times below are term time only, training times will vary throughout school holidays, parents will be notified no later than 2 weeks before. Children train 48 weeks per year.
Development mini’s – Wednesday 5pm-7pm
Children under the age of 11 must be accompanied to their sports lesson by their parent or guardian. Children attending lessons will not be released from our care in the absence of their parent or guardian; we would therefore strongly advise that you remain on site incase of any emergency so we can contact you quickly and that you arrive at least 5 minutes prior to the end of your child’s lesson.
