Our female pre / post natal qualified instructors are here to help by tailoring an activity programme that’s suited to you and adjusted each trimester. There are a number of benefits of getting or remaining active throughout pregnancy including

For many women changing body shape is a concern and exercise helps to gain a sense of control and achievement. Exercise is also a great way to connect with others and build long-lasting friendships.

Pre / Post Natal Group Exercise Classes
The following specific pre / post natal classes are available at our Midsomer Norton site and are delivered by qualified pre / post natal instructors.
- Wednesday 10.30am – 11.15am – Postnatal Exercise
- Wednesday 11.30am – 12.15pm Postnatal Exercise
- Thursday 9.15am – 10.00am – Prenatal Exercise
- Thursday 1.30pm – 2.00pm – Aquanatal
Please note that Writhlington Gold members will be able to access the above classes at Midsomer Norton free of charge as part of their membership as we are currently unable to offer any pre or post natal classes at our Writhlington site.
The following group workout classes are also suitable for Prenatal ladies:

Deep Water Aqua Aerobics
All of our classes are suitable for postnatal ladies following their 6 week check as our instructors will offer regression and demonstrate / instruct extra needs for postnatal clients.
Our group exercise instructors will ask if anyone is pregnant or returning following the birth of a child at the beginning of the class and will give alternative exercises where appropriate.
Expectant mothers qualify for concession memberships where offered. Click here for further information on our memberships. Proof of eligibility will be required (NHS exemption card and photo ID).
