Passport To Health

WorkoutPassport to Health is the local exercise referral service targeting inactive individuals with other health related risk factors.

The scheme is managed by Bath & North East Somerset Council and works with local leisure providers to offer its participants the opportunity to get active and stay active with a little help and support from fully trained exercise referral consultants.

Writhlington and Midsomer Norton Sports Centres offer a varied programme of activities for individuals referred to the scheme. With your Passport to Health card you can start on the road to regular activity by trying out anything from the gym, with expert supervision, to swimming, tennis, badminton, table tennis, climbing, yoga, aerobics, group cycling or even zumba! A weight loss support programme is also available.

The course lasts for 12 weeks and includes all pre and post-programme assessments (which are free of charge). Participants are also invited to attend an ‘Active 4 Life’ workshop to help them on their way to establishing healthy, active habits to prevent ill health in the future.

If you would like any more information about the scheme, pick up a leaflet from reception or speak to a member of staff.
